IT'S A GRAND NIGHT FOR SINGERS continues its monthly series at the Jarvis Conservatory on August 2nd with wonderful songs and arias from the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. If you love Mozart, Schubert, and Franz Lehar, this will be the place to be! It'll also be a great evening for fans of Rogers & Hart, Giacomo Puccini, and Richard Strauss, the great Romantic composer.
Opening the program and entertaining at intermission will be "The Rogue Quartet, " a women's close-harmony group on their way to the International Sweet Adeline Competition to be held in Baltimore, Maryland, in the fall. The Napa-based Harlen Miller Chorale will also offer two choral selections.
These events are regularly hosted by the IT'S A GRAND NIGHT FOR SINGERS Music Director Richard B. Evans, who divides his time between the West Coast and New York City.
IT'S A GRAND NIGHT FOR SINGERS continues the first Saturday of every month at 7pm at the Jarvis Conservatory located at 1711 Main Street in historic downtown Napa. Tickets are $20 and available at the box office beginning at 6pm, with doors opening for General Seating at 6:30pm.
