"Quartet for the End of Time" by French composer Olivier Messiaen
It was composed in 1941 while Mr. Messiaen was a prisoner in a Nazi POW camp.
The work is very intense - it is a musical depiction of the apocalypse, as described in the Bible's Book of Revelation. A multi-media event.

Napa Youth Chamber Ensemble
Performing quarterly performances at the Jarvis Conseratory throughout the year, the Napa Youth Chamber Ensemble (NYCE) began in 2008 as a chance for some Napa Valley Youth Symphony's top players to gain additional leadership and performance experience. The ensemble performs at ten to fifteen events a year, from concerts at the Jarvis Conservatory to music festivals, such as Festival del Sole. Next Concert - Saturday, April 22nd 7:00pm
